(Luke 5 vs John 21)
Luke 5
Death // Resurrection.
Jesus' death brought about the death of all discouragement, despair, hopelessness, failure, negativity, disappointments.
Peter was broken and humbled in his heart, having to re-affirm/re-dedicate his loyalty/love/consecration to God.
~~~~~~~~~What was the difference?~~~~~~~
Life// Faith// Impartation // Empowerment
Only through Jesus' ascension to heaven could the Holy Spirit dwell in us, working within us to anoint/empower/guide/equip us for the calling to do God's will.
Provision was given to be more productive, effective, excellent.
Man can now be closer to God's original intention.
Just as God is omnipotent, omnipresent, omniscient,
Man can now be more powerful,
better multi-taskers,
wiser and knowledgeable.

John 21: 18
Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger,
you girded yourself and walked where you wished;
but when you are old,
you will stretch out your hands,
and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.

"will You take all of me?"
"I'LL TAKE."
"for all of You?"
"yes."

- "net was breaking"
- men called to become disciples

- "they were not able to draw it(net) in"

my fringe actually grew to my jaw bone already
but i realised i couldn't carry off long fringe.
no matter how i tried to part it well, use headbands, hair spray, pins, WHATEVER
how SAD!
so
finally I did it on my own!
just all in the name of fun
very fearful initially
but so far good feedback
from those who've seen me already
pardon the whines and all, really felt nervous and had to talk to myself.

Today Pastor Ming had us prophesy over ourselves
I received some pieces,
placed them together and
I managed to grasp
(more or less)
a glimpse of my destiny in God.
i believe as we go on in the Walk
little pieces will come into frame
and
year by year
the sovereign plan He has for us
will slowly unfold
these pieces
help us align our life to the bigger picture
Oh,
There are many things in my heart
hopes, dreams and visions.
Secrets of my life (future: near & far) that
God has spoken.
Like seeds planted in soil
they will be 'hidden'
until they come into fruition

Today's lesson Summary:
The Ministry of the Evangelist, Five-fold Ministry I

I have never been so so so so so tired..
to the point where i nearly passed out
on my way home
for the first time in many years,
my body was pushed to the max
i had to pray
even when taking the train and the bus
for a seat
because i couldn't stand straight
it was mind vs body
after 1.5 years of "no-vision-i-bum-around" lifestyle
I know that this year is
going to be a special one
God was right,
He told me at the start of 2008
when I was praying for a vision
that 2008 would be
a year that would really STRETCH me
and i actually wondered what could stretch me...
4 hours everyday last week
2 -6 hours on average this week
though i must admit... some of those lost hours
were spent in vain
watching movies, face-booking, msn-ing.
oops.
Aiyah.
